Manufacture, Supply and Installation of Timber Signage for Scotland’s National Nature Reserves
Scottish Natural Heritage
NatureScot requires a single‑supplier framework for the manufacture, supply and delivery of high‑quality timber signage, produced in accordance with the NNR Signs Guide and associated CAD master drawings. The requirement includes the production of routed Douglas Fir timber sign structures, supply of CHPL graphic panels using print‑ready artwork provided by NatureScot, and provision of all associated fixings and hardware. The supplier will prepare English or bilingual English/Gaelic CAD drawings, manufacture items to approved designs, deliver completed signage to NatureScot National Nature Reserves (NNRs), offices or other designated locations, and install signage where required. The framework will support a rolling programme of new and replacement signage across Scotland’s NNR estate, typically involving 50–100 signs per year across 3–5 reserves. Work may include removal of existing signs, reinstatement of ground, provision of photographic evidence, and addressing any warranty issues. All timber must be sourced from certified sustainable sources (e.g. FSC/PEFC), and all products must comply with the technical standards, tolerances, sustainability requirements and Service Level Agreements detailed within the Statement of Requirements
